Immediate Demands Mga Agarang Demanda

1. Kay DMW Secretary Cacdac at Ambassador Romualdez: Harapin ang mga Migranteng Manggagawa at ang mga resulta ng iyong kriminal na pagpapabaya at pakikipagsabwatan. DMW Secretary Cacdac & Ambassador Romualdez: Face the Migrant Workersand the consequences of your criminal neglect and collusion. Give audience to migrant workers when you are in the U.S. Consular officials across the country must also give audience to migrant workers in their areas, to ensure immediate action on their concerns.

1. a) Cacdac apologize for all his wrongdoings and neglect of Filipinos in distress immediately

2. Aming idinedemanda ang kagyat na ayuda para sa taumbayan, kasama ang mga hakbang para masigurado ang madaliang pagkuha ng kagyat na serbisyo at suporta ng lahat ng mga migranteng manggagawa. We Demand Immediate Relief for the People, including steps to ensure all migrant workers can easily access urgent services and support.

1. a) Release immediate assistance to migrant workers in need.

   b) Remove any requirements for Filipinos to produce proof of legal status in the U.S.

   c) Provide transparent accounting of ATN and AKSYON allocation and disbursement.

   d) Intervene through diplomatic protest to push for the release of unjustly detained Filipinos including Yaakub, Jonah and Kuya J.

   e) Provide protection against the 24-hour workday – need to provide relief and health relief

   f) Prioritize the immediate resolution of open cases of workers seeking justice

3. Aming idinedemanda na ipasara ang mga Pilipinong employer na nagkasala ng pang-aabuso ng kanilang mga manggagawa. We Demand that Filipino Employers guilty of abusing their workers be shut down. Philippine-based agencies and manning agencies guilty of trafficking and violating workers rights must be blacklisted and shutdown by DMW. Filipino employers that violate their workers rights must be held accountable and actions taken to ensure they pay workers any wages owed.

4. Aming idinedemanda na panagutin at agarang tanggalins sa pwesto ang mga opisyales ng Pilipinas na natagpuang nagkasala ng korapsyon. Wakasan ang lahat ng mga patakarang nagpapahintulot sa madaling pangungurakot ng pampublikong pondo. We Demand that all Philippine officials found guilty of corruption be immediately fired and held accountable. End all policies allowing easy corruption of public funds. There must be public confirmation of Macy Maglanque’s removal from post. There must be an end to DMW officials being allowed to hold and disburse public funds from their personal bank accounts.

5. We Demand immediate steps be taken to address the crisis and rising prices in the Philippines. Ensure full implementation of emergency powers and implement immediate reforms to lessen the impact of rising prices for our loved ones back home. Remove the Value Added Tax (VAT) and Excise Tax. Repeal the Oil Deregulation Act. Implement a Wealth Tax on Billionaires to generate funds for immediate subsidies to the poorest families in the Ph

Gusto nating itigil ang krisis at ang paghihirap ng taumbayan. We want an end to the crisis and the suffering of the people.

Itigil ang gerang agresyon ng US-Israel sa Iran! Aming idinedemanda na itigil ang hindi makatarungan at mapinsalang gera sa mamamayan ng Iran. Itigil ang gerang agresyon ng US-Israel sa Iran! We demand an end to the unjust and destructive war on the people of Iran.

• We do not want our country to be complicit in the US war by hosting the US military (permitting over 500 annual US military activities & allowing the deployment of US missile systems to turn the Philippines into a launching pad for US intervention across Asia). “Balikatan” PH-US military exercises should be stopped – money and oil should be prioritized for the people, not for war games.

• We want an end to subservience and an independent foreign policy that prioritizes Philippine sovereignty and national interests over the US agenda

• Stop the sell out of the Philippines & use of the land for military war games with other countries.

Aming idinedemanda na gamitin sa pagpapaunlad ng mga industriya at trabaho ang mayamang lupain at yaman ng Pilipinas para sa aming mga minamahal sa buhay sa ating bansa. We demand the rich land and resources of the Philippines be used to develop industries and jobs for our loved ones back home. We want an end to the system that relies on thousands of Filipino workers having to leave the country every day in search of work and better opportunities. We can create better opportunities at home.
